For more than 14 years, she was bureau chief of the Cox Media Group Washington News Bureau, providing award-winning news coverage for 15 television stations, 6 news talk radio stations, and 7 daily newspapers, reaching approximately 52 million Americans weekly. During that time, Heidi guided the organization through major shifts in the media industry, all while controlling costs, achieving new levels of customer service, and garnering accolades from her colleagues throughout the organization. She fostered an inclusive and collaborative environment that embraced change, championed innovation, and encouraged professional development at every level.
Having benefited from leadership coaching herself, Heidi created Selas Solutions with the firm belief that leadership coaching is a catalyst for positive change. She enjoys partnering with clients to discover their development priorities, identify and remove roadblocks, and achieve new levels of success and fulfillment. Heidi’s clients learn how to elevate their professional performance and increase their personal satisfaction.
Heidi is certified as an executive leadership coach through the Georgetown University Institute for Transformational Leadership and the International Coach Federation. She graduated summa cum laude from The George Washington University with a degree in political communication. Outside of coaching, Heidi enjoys exercising, fly fishing, and cooking. She is proud to be a patient ambassador for the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research.
